Amy Drown has been in love with books since before she could read. As a toddler she used to admire the pretty pictures, but once the black squiggles on those pages transformed into letters, and those letters became words and sentences and paragraphs, she was instantly and hopelessly addicted to the written word, and to novels in particular. Today, any time she moves house, her book collection practically requires its own U-Haul truck. In recent years, her passion for storytelling has grown to include reviewing, judging, freelance editing, and now writing her own books—edgy, uplifting stories that explore the deep roots of family, friendship, and faith.
Amy studied history at the University of Arizona, the University of Cambridge, and the University of Glasgow. An executive assistant by day, she is also an award-winning photographer and musician. But her true passion is exploring the past through reading, writing, and historic preservation.
When she's not reading and writing, Amy enjoys watching old movies, preserving and restoring her Victorian house, or loading up her camera gear (and her cat!) for another road trip. She currently resides in Montana, and yes, she really does play the bagpipes.

Amanda G. Stevens is a fiction author whose stories speculate on reality and whose characters walk both an emotional journey and a Christian faith journey. Her Haven Seekers series is a four-book dystopia. Her No Less Days series, which is in progress (three books published and more to come), features immortal characters navigating the contemporary real world. She wrote her first story in first grade and can talk about her characters all day and all night; they're the children of her heart.
Amanda is a voluntarily transplanted Yankee who recently moved to South Carolina. She hasn't quit savoring the climate yet and probably never will. Research is one of her favorite things, and her favored topics include high-control groups and trauma psychology. She also loves acoustic music, art museums, Pre-Code and Golden Era films, birds and reptiles, time in nature, and of course books.
